Angel Davey, RN

Surgical Nurse

Angel Davey is a highly accomplished surgical nurse with over twenty years of experience in the healthcare industry. Angel graduated Cum Laude from Trinity University International, where she majored in Health Care Management. Following her undergraduate studies, Angel continued her education, gaining a Master’s degree from the University of Scranton and afterward gaining her nursing degree from Trinity Washington University.

Throughout her studies, Angel worked in various positions in the healthcare industry including such roles as Surgical Supervisor, Neurosurgery and Plastic Surgery Department Manager, and the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Team Leader during her time in the US Air Force. Upon the completion of her nursing degree, and critical care nurse residency, Angel worked at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in the Neurosurgery IMC and the Trauma Burn ICU.

With expertise in Plastic Surgery, Angel is committed to providing exceptional patient care by utilizing the latest medical advancements and nursing practices. Angel is also passionate about educating patients about their surgical options and helping them make informed decisions about their care. As a registered nurse, Angel has developed strong communication and problem-solving skills through working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. She is skilled in collaborating with other healthcare professionals and ensuring that all patient needs are met.

Angel brings her surgical expertise and compassionate patient care to SkinDC, where she assists Dr. Jonathan Cabin with his surgical and cosmetic facial plastic surgery patients. She is committed to providing compassionate and evidence-based care to all of her patients and is dedicated to advancing the nursing profession through ongoing education and professional development.

Outside of work, Angel enjoys being outdoors, kayaking with her dog, day trips to nearby beaches, and hiking with her husband and son. A native of Chicago, she looks forward to the cooler months here in the District, and any potential chance for snow.
