Physician Assistant

Grace Geiger is a highly accomplished Physician Assistant with over a decade of medical and surgical experience. Grace graduated Summa Cum Laude from Oral Roberts University, where she majored in Biomedical Chemistry. She was an Honors Scholar and received numerous awards for outstanding academic achievement, including the James W. Pugh Ozark Scholarship for Academic Excellence and the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award for Biochemistry. While in school, Grace was dedicated to volunteer and outreach programs. She traveled to Ghana and Mexico with medical relief teams in order to set up medical clinics and treat locals. 

Following her undergraduate studies, Grace pursued her interest in medicine by completing her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Eastern Virginia Medical School. While studying at EVMS, Grace volunteered with Equi-Kids, an organization that provides equine therapy for disabled adults, kids, and military service members. Since her graduation she has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, gaining valuable experience in the operating room, clinic, and hospital settings. 

Grace’s exceptional leadership and clinical skills led her to earn the position of Lead Physician Assistant in the Neurosurgery Department at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. There, she oversaw and coordinated a team of physician assistants which helped her gain valuable leadership experience. While working at MedStar, Grace’s outstanding clinical service and glowing patient commendations led to multiple SPIRIT awards. The SPIRIT award is given to an individual who excels in Service, Patient First, Integrity, Respect, Innovation, and Teamwork. 

Grace brings her medical and surgical expertise and compassionate patient care to SkinDC in February of 2023, where she assists with hair loss cases. Grace was trained by Dr. Maxim Chumak, where she completed the VERO Hair Preceptorship in July of 2023. She remains committed to ongoing continuing medical education in order to provide the highest possible level of care to her patients and regularly participates in continuing education courses and conferences. 

Outside of work, Grace enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and staying active through various physical fitness activities such as biking and hiking.
