Ragan Lake

Ragan Lake, Director of Body Contouring, leads the body contouring team at SkinDC.

Ragan grew up in Redding, CT, and later relocated to Louisville, KY, before settling in the DC area. She has worked in dermatology and plastic surgery since 2016. Before starting her career in aesthetic medicine, Ragan earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Health Science from The College of William and Mary. She then completed post-graduate coursework with a focus in Health Science at the University of Louisville.

Ragan is a certified provider of various noninvasive body contouring treatments, including CoolSculpting, CoolTone, Ultherapy, VanquishME, Exilis Ultra, and Cellutone. She performs more than 3,000 body contouring treatments per year at SkinDC and is recognized as a leader in the field. As a National Speaker, and as a Faculty Trainer at the Allergan Medical Institute, Ragan educates industry professionals across the United States on CoolSculpting and CoolTone best practices. From thousands of CoolSculpting providers in the nation, fewer than 90 individuals are invited to join the Allergan Medical Institute Faculty Bureau.

Ragan has been recognized in the media for her work at SkinDC. SkinDC was voted “Best CoolTone” in the July/August 2023 issue of Modern Luxury DC Magazine, which highlights Ragan as the top CoolTone provider in the area. SkinDC was also named “The Face of CoolSculpting” in the January 2023 issue of Washingtonian Magazine, which features Ragan and Dr. Terrence Keaney as “Faces of Washington.” The magazine’s “Face of Washington” distinction is awarded to local entrepreneurs and business leaders who are moving their industries and the region forward, and making the region a better place to live. Ragan was also a guest expert on “The Tea on Body Contouring Treatments: CoolSculpt vs. CoolTone,” episode 62 of Dear Media podcast Note to Self with Payton Sartain. As SkinDC’s Body Contouring Specialist, Ragan takes a holistic approach to body contouring. During a consultation, she considers all factors contributing to an area of concern and develops a comprehensive treatment plan to achieve a patient’s aesthetic goals. Ragan’s experience and expertise allow her to produce beautiful patient results. She performs all body contouring treatments at SkinDC, which is consistently ranked as the #1 CoolSculpting and CoolTone provider in Virginia, and a top 10 provider nationally (Allergan Aesthetics, 2023).
